That's wonderful! We would love to have you join us. The niad dance company student troupe holds auditions twice a year for new members. We are dedicated to putting high quality transnational fusion dance on the stage and out into the community and we are always looking for dedicated and enthusiastic dancers to be a part of what we are creating!

Step 1: Join us for classes at the niad studio. All of the choreographies we perform as a group are original pieces created and taught by niad troupe directors Jaidra DuRant and Brandy White. You can learn these pieces through regular weekly sessions, private or semi private lessons, or workshops.

Step 2: Build up your dance skill, repertoire, and costume closet. Troupe members are expected to take regular weekly classes and continue their dance education and must be able to maintain a costume closet for performance. It takes time to build all of your skills and your wardrobe, but it's worth it!

Step 3: Audition! Auditions will be announced at least a month ahead of time to allow you time to prepare. Dancers must prepare two dances, one of which must be a troupe number.
